2nd ice fishing trip Brvt.
Got out again today fished from 10am til 2:30pm got only one nice Bluegill by 1am and just as I was packing up to move the Bluegills started biting yellow jigs tipped with spikes were the best bait. I fished a tip-up outside the front door and after losing a huge Pike that straighten the treble hooks on a small swedish pimple I tied on a larger pimple and hooked up a big shiner I had just caught. After awhile I stepped out to retrieve my ice scoop and noticed my tip up was set off it was the 21 in Walleye. I lost another Walleye at the hole not big but a keeper for sure. Ended up with 17 Bluegills and only caught fish from 1am til 2:30 when I had to go.
